6L2288 Select the E-2 engine pencil zinc if using it with an E-2 hex end plug. Select the CAT pencil option below if using the CAT square end plug.

- E-2 pencil length: 2″Â or the CAT option= 2-1/2″

- anode thread size- CAT option= 3/8-16

- Note:  If you select the E-2 replacement pencil, it has a 7/16-14 thread to fit in an E-2 hex head plug. If you select the CAT replacement pencil, it has a 3/8-16 thread that fits in the CAT square plug. Be sure to pick the correct pencil for the type of end plug being used.
